June’s Journey

Working to ensure that every life is remembered, because unmarked is unacceptable.

June’s Journey was created in memory of baby June. Though her journey through this life was brief, her legacy will live on to ensure that every life, no matter how short, is never forgotten.

Our aim here is to assist with financial and emotional support to families coping with the loss of a child, specifically to ensure that our babies are not forgotten or left unmarked.

Though our primary goal is to ensure every baby's grave has a headstone, we are happy to assist in other ways. Some examples would be...
 - Burial assistance

 - Post-partum care packages

- Connections with other similar organizations to meet specific needs

- Sibling care packages

- Keepsakes such as decals/shirts/temporary headstones

- Clothing items for photos and burial

**All of this is totally dependent on funding and generous contributions from the public. Please continue to pray for the success of this journey. Even if we only help one family, it will be worth it!

Our Mission

Our mission at June's Journey is grounded in the offering of financial assistance towards the purchase of a headstone for a child.

The journey begins...

All life is precious

This organization was created to honor the life and legacy of a little girl named June.
A little bit of her story:

Sweet baby June came into my life in the summer of 2019. Due to multiple circumstances her life here on earth was brief. She was so beautiful, and so perfect it would only make sense that God felt she was too beautiful for earth. She needed a family to love her, so we did just that. The next day I began the journey to ensure she wasn’t forgotten, and forever a part of our family.

After the required time frame allowed for the birth family to make arrangements came and went, I received the call... she was ours, and we officially named her, June. Though the funeral home assisted with the cost of her burial, we were now faced with the task of funding a headstone. The cost of even the most basic headstone was something we were not prepared for, but the thought of her grave being unmarked was too much to bear. My extremely talented sister painted a garden stepping stone to use as a temporary marker until we were able to purchase a real one. (The first photo you see on this site is the painted stone.)

***Effective November 17, 2019 “June’s Journey” is officially registered as a non profit organization in the state of TN, but the remaining licensing that comes along with being tax deductible remains up in the air.

Our aim is to help other families facing the same financial dilemma so that no babies are left unmarked.
Though her journey through this life was brief, the impact will be felt for years to come.
